Liv-Better On The Foot Or Liver –

Best Reflexology Points

Let’s talk about one other really cool reason the foot is a great place to apply essential oils.

I will address it by answering a question.

Recently I was asked, “Gav, is it better to apply Liv-Better at night to my feet or over my liver area?”
The answer is either, however I recommend trying it both for a few days.

What I mean is I would apply 1 drop of Liv-Better on the bottom of each foot for 2-3 days, and then only apply the oil over the liver for a few days and see which your body prefers.

You can apply an essential oil over the bottom of the feet for great benefit
for the reasons we already discussed and also because of the Reflexology points on the bottom of your feet.

What is Liv-Better?
If you are new to the Restore Hope Oils Family this is one of our premier product. We formulated to help support normal liver function and proper biliary tree function.
Liv-Better was created to support normal detoxification methods already performed by the liver, biliary tree and gallbladder.

What is Reflexology you ask? Here is one definition:

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that applies gentle pressure to the feet or hands to stimulate energy pathways in the body.

Summary
Reflexology works on energy pathways similar to acupuncture
Pressing certain points on the feet is thought to help release energy blockages and restore balance in the body
Reflexologists believe that certain points on the feet correspond to organs in the body

While there is a lot of information we will not go in depth with Reflexology today,
I will share a link with you to look over a simple picture of the possible points
on the bottom of the feet that are believed to connect to different organs and systems of the body.

When I apply an essential oil to the feet before bed I tend to apply the oil over
the whole foot taking special care to gently rub oil on the toes and liver areas depending on what oil it is.
Why do I rub the oil on my toes? That is the portion of the foot connected to the head and brain. I need my brain to begin to relax when I go to bed.

So, in reference to the question at the beginning about Liv-Better,
one could try applying the oil over the areas of the feet in correspondence with the liver.

What if my digestive system is challenged?
I could apply Pure Digest (another amazing essential oil blend) to my abdomen,
but also to the area associated with the stomach or colon on my feet.

One drop of oil is enough when targeting something on the feet.

The options are endless!
If you have questions on which oils can be helpful for different systems do not hesitate to reach out.
